We dreamed about this for some time: to have a space in Milan where we could offer Genoese food,the real stuff, home-cooked fare, the things you eat at lunch with friends. A relaxed, welcoming, simple place, different from the usual eateries; a place where you can eat, drink, chat with friends in the open air, and maybe even enjoy a game of bowls… the kind of place we’d have liked to have gone to … That’s us, friends for years, die-hard Genoese, in love with Milan, people who have decided to cultivate an extra passion.
That is how U Barba was born.
